Good morning everybody!! Just checking out the blog - again. I love the fact that we're still included in the group with the "cool kids!!" LOL!! I can't wait for the camping trip - Kathy & I are working on the "Perfect Cheer!!" It will be fun to meet all the new people & hopefully we won't have any visits from Ranger Rick. I've also heard that the snipe population is up this year due to no hunting at the Park. I hope the kids aren't in danger!! LOL!! We miss you all & hopefully will see you on the 12th. Go 242!!!

What is small group?
Hey everyone, What does small group mean to you? I would love to share stories about what small group has been to you or someone you know. Why would you encourage others to join a small group and how do we expand for others?
I will start, I love the fact that we can get together and talk about REAL issues and eat and live life together. I love that we can have girls nights together, drinking coffee (notice food is always included in my loves:) and laughing but share a common faith in Jesus. That common faith seems to be a bond for small groups in general stronger than other friendships. I love that I know if I was in trouble I would count on you all. I love you all! Kim

The Circle Defined
WHAT IS THE CIRCLE?
cir·cle - ˈsər-kəl
a. A closed plane curve every point of which is equal from a fixed point within.
b. Safe-Zone at the beach. No running. No sand kicking. A quiet, happy place.
c. Our Life Group- Where we welcome all to do life together for Jesus Christ.
ORIGIN OF THE CIRCLE
Going back to ancient times (May 2008), The Circle was formed by a small group of Followers of Christ during a spiritual awakening revival (camping in Muskegon). While reflecting on life and their purpose on the beach one day, a little person invaded the pre-established big-people area causing a ruckus. It was at this point, The Circle was established.

Old Small Group Versus New Small Group :)
Hello Everyone, I am so excited to have a blog for all our circle of friends. What a great way to share information, funny pictures, and our life as our circle grows! In the last year there have been lots of changes within the group. We wished Angie and Bill well when we helped them pack (oh yeah, I didn't help them did I). We grew in size. We passed the baton to the Schuh's for our wonderful small group and we (the Wooster's) ventured out on our own. Although sad about this change it has opened up many seats for new group members in both groups. What I have learned from this is how cool it is when you listen to God and we all now have old friends (especially Randy:) ) and we all have new friends. It is so cool to be able to meet and welcome new friends into our circle. I would love to hear everyone's stories about what this year has brought for the groups! I love you all, Kim
